Brandon is awesome!! Great customer service is tough to find these days, but he exceeds my expectations and walks me through everything and answered any questions. This is why I will always use A1 and would like to have Brandon come to my house every time…but maybe not possible:). Of course there are other companies out that that can do the work, but your people make the difference and that is more important than always getting the lowest price. We’ve used A1 twice now for our garage door fixes. Both times our projects were done with great care and understanding. Booking my appointment was very easy and the service rep was super accommodating and kind. We had Austin arrived for our second appointment and he was great. He made sure everything was explained, all of our questions were answered and he gave us great info on the functioning of our door. He gave us options to make more updates to our old door, without being overwhelming. When he left, not only did I feel he did a top notch job, was courteous, honest and kind, but he also offered us great info to empower us with the knowledge we need when considering future repairs. When making repairs to our door, or regular maintenance, we’d use A1 again in the future.

We needed to replace our original garage door from the 50s. After receiving quotes from A1 and another company, we chose A1 based on their professionalism and the products they offered. Corey came out to do the estimate and he was wonderful, and Jed actually did the installation and he did a fantastic job. I was able to schedule an appointment online next day which was great. Kevin Kusba came out to look at my garage door. He called to let me know he was on his way, was very friendly and knowledgeable and told me exactly what the issues were with my garage door. 2nd time working with A-1. Josh was fantastic! Prompt, pleasant & knowledgeable! I already had an idea of what to expect (added substantial weight to my garage door and knew I needed heavier duty springs). Josh took me through the options - pros & cons of each - with no high pressure sales tactics. While I don't forsee needing garage door services a time soon, I can't see myself ever calling anyone else.

Greg completely inspected my garage door and all associated equipment and provided me with a detailed summary of its current status. He provided me with options for my repair and for improving the life expectancy of the system. At no time did I feel any pressure to up grade or to make a purchase that I didn't want. He completed the work quickly and professionally. Upon completion, he provided me with a detailed description of the work he performed and showed me both the new and the replaced parts. He then demonstrated how he had balanced the door better to put less strain on the opener motor, all part of the service. Very highly recommended!

The spring broke on my wooden 2-car garage on a Saturday evening after regular business hours. My vehicles were in the garage and the 280 pound door was too heavy to lift. Called A1 Garage Service to schedule an appointment. Around 1pm the next day was their earliest available time. On Sunday morning, I received a call from A1 around 830am that a serviceman would be available sooner than expected. They asked is the schedule change was OK with me. The A1 caller also mentioned the serviceman by name and that he would call me before his arrival. Corey, the serviceman, called me 15 minutes later to confirm the appointment and sent a text with his photo and brief bio. Upon arrival, Corey assessed the problem and provided options to resolve the problem with costs associated with each option. I was very pleased with Corey’s candor, workmanship and professionalism. No hard sell tactics employed. A1 Garage Service can boast it has earned another satisfied customer. I wholeheartedly recommend them and will not hesitate to utilize their services in the future.

Rick was able to come out sooner than originally planned, really helped my family out having my two car garage door functioning again! Our technician, Justin, came on one of the coldest days in January. He was very friendly and informative. He always had a smile on his fave. We didn't even have to go outside. He explained many options for fixing our garage door issue. He completed work earlier than what he expected. This is the second time we used A1 and are very happy with the service. We contacted A1 after having issues with our garage door opening, even after being serviced by another company. The tech that came to our house, Justin, was amazing! Super helpful and informative with what was going on and what needed to be done to ensure the garage door was working properly and safely. Having 2 little ones, that was a very important thing for us. He explained where there were problems and fully explained all options we had to resolve them. He priced out a few options and talked us through what financing they had available. At the end of the appointment I was absolutely happy with everything. Very honest and helpful and would 100% recommend them for any garage door issues! Will definitely be using them for when we replace our garage door!

Steve is an amazing tech installer. He found the issue within five minutes of arrival. He inspected all parts of door and door opener and discovered several more issues which could have resulted in major safety concerns. He replaced all parts to fix all these safety issues. His attention to detail is outstanding. We now have a safe garage door and opener. I would recommend him and A1 Garage Door Service to anyone. I want Steve to come back and do all yearly inspections.

Kevin was great. He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived 25 mins as he said. He was quick to diagnose the problem with the door and provided an estimate for the work needed. Had the typical experience of something broken, this time my garage door. Called A-1 Garage, got a live person and not voicemail. Good start. Spoke with Nicole and first appointment they had was almost 2 weeks out. I explained my situation and she put me on hold to check with her dispatcher. They could have come late that afternoon but I wouldn’t be home. Nicole checked with the dispatcher again and arranged for a tech to come out that Sunday.Nick came out, immediately identified the problem and had the garage door up and running within a few hours. He also showed me some other issues which I had noticed but didn’t know what it meant and he fixed them also.Superior customer service and installation. Highly, highly recommend them😊

Steven was great. He arrived within an hour of my call. He was very pleasant and did a very professional job. I was in a real bind. The spring on the door broke and I could not get our cars out of the garage. I needed to get to an appointment and Steven finished with an hour to spare. Called A1 because of a broken spring in our garage door. After calling our technician (Rick B.) came out the following day. Was given a window of 8am-1pm. Rick called promptly at 7:55am and said he was on his way. He even offered to bring me a coffee!!After evaluating the door and the fix that it needed, he gave my wife and I our options for repair and thoroughly explained them. We were able to make an informed choice about our repair and Rick completed the work to a high standard. He was friendly, honest, and fair. We would definitely work with A-1 and Rick again.

A1 is wonderful! Not only were each of the receptionists I spoke with very kind and helpful but Greg, our technician, was also very impressive. From the very first interaction (phone call to let me know he was on his way), he was respectful, friendly, professional, and personable. He was absolutely fantastic to work with and he didn't mind that I was also working in my garage while he was installing our new opener. He was great to work with and truly made us feel like he cared about us and didn't see us as just another job. Greg was very knowledgeable and efficient. The experience was good although I wasn’t expecting to invest in something new. Initial thought was for repairs to be made, not really planning to replace the whole garage door. But, things were explained so that it made sense to go ahead with the project. If anything, it will help should we decide at some point to sell the house. Dan explained things well for us and the process was easy to understand and signing was also completed successfully. A 12 year old torsion spring was starting to fail putting a strain on our garage door opener. Our tech MKE Corey S 011-S did a thorough inspection and determined most of the 29 year old components were worn out.Although the price seemed extremely high compared to having the torsion spring replaced twice in the past 29 years, the experience with Corey helped.Corey answered all my questions and completed their 29 point safety inspection and did a very good job replacing the components and making adjustments.Our garage door has not worked this good in at least 15 years.Thank you MKE Corey S 011-S!

I had a spring break and it also ruined the garage door opener. I called A1 and they promptly sent out Greg N the next day. Greg called me early the next morning and came right out. Greg was an exceptional technician!! He explained everything to us in a manner that we could easily understand. Greg did a wonderful job of installing everything. He removed all of the old items and was very neat and tidy installing wires and other items. I was impressed with the level of customer service that he provided and cannot remember a time when I have had better. He showed us how all of the new equipment worked and made sure that everything was programmed before he left. On his way out he stopped at my car and took a minute to set the internal system in my car to open the new door. WOW! Could not believe that. Greg is definitely an asset for A1 and he gives Customer Service a whole new meaning.

Corey S. was our technician he was 100% friendly, professional, efficient, and absolutely knew what he was doing. He thoroughly explained all the options for garage door openers to us and allowed us to choose without pressure. When all was said and done, he explained that some of the other parts on our garage doors were very old and probably weren’t gonna last much longer, and again gave us options for fixing those with no pressure to choose the highest priced options. He showed us how to use the new remotes and keypads and explained their features. Our new openers are SO fancy and so quiet and since this is our hopefully last home, we won’t have to worry about these breaking down anytime soon. A1 and Corey did a fantastic job and I wouldn’t hesitate for a minute recommending them!

My garage door spring broke and Steven came out the next day with all the necessary parts to fix it. It turns out my garage door system parts were all from either 2005 or 2014 and were way beyond their useful life. Steven had all the parts necessary on-hand and he completed everything in about 4 hours. While I didn’t intend to spend a bunch of money on my garage door this week, I feel really good about the full service and great explanations Steven provided along the way. It is great to now have a smart garage door and the peace of mind we won’t have to replace anymore parts for a very long time!

Zach from A1 has come out for an inspection. My wife and I just bought the house and decided an early inspection was the best way to stay ahead of future problems.Zach was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He was happy to explain everything he was doing and why. Who knew that the door opener doesn't actually pull the door open? I didn't! Ended up having to replace door rollers and the opener springs. All other bits and pieces were inspected, adjusted and lubricated as needed.Everything was done quickly and on the spot without a need for another call, with multiple price options presented. There is a night and day difference after the repairs and the 1970s Sears opener gets to keep living its long life!Would 100% recommend and signed up for the yearly maintenance plan. Thank you!

I had a garage spring break on a Saturday. Panic!! Weekend labor rates are crazy, right? Not at A1. It was affordable and service was the BEST! A1 Garage was phenomenal. Our technician was Steven and he was awesome to work with. He explained everything to make sure I understood what was all going on so I made the correct decision. I am not an expert at the industry prices but if I paid more than market, I’m okay with it cause of the great customer service. He replaces the springs, bolts, cables, and motor all under an hour. Brandon was outstanding. He fixed my problem and suggested some other things for me to consider. I ended up getting a new garage door opener which is much better than the one I had. Price was reasonable.Andy H was great. Fixed the problem, reset controls and explained everything he did. Outstanding!Tyler was great. He got my keypad working in less than five minutes. I’ve been having challenges with our garage door for the past few years. We have tried other companies in the past and it was always one problem after another. Eventually I found out about A1 Garage Door Service and Tony P stopped out at our house. To say I’m satisfied is an understatement. His ability to quickly diagnose our door issues and provide a lasting solution was exactly what we needed. We have several other garage doors that will most likely need servicing in the near future. A1 will be my first and only call. Tony P had answers to all of my questions and was very respectful. I’m very pleased with this company!

Justin was awesome gave me great information and advise. He also was very accommodating when I missed our initial meet up time. He went above and beyond to help me as best as he could, he was also very friendly and nice to both my kids when they were watching him work. Honestly great technician but even better person who takes pride in his work and likes his customers.

To say Greg with A1 Garage Door Service was amazing is truly an understatement!!! Hands down the absolute best service we have EVER experienced! He was fast, very knowledgeable, expert work, and very thorough, clearly explaining the proper garage door maintenance as well as informing AND helping us setup our wireless garage door access!! Justin was great. Inspected old system which was not working and told me exactly what was worn out and how. He then presented me with all the options that were available to make things right. He explained everything along with the costs. He also explained finance options. We then set up an installation appointment. I was kept informed on the estimated arrival time and Justin made it right on time. When Justin arrived we went over the order and he explained what he was going to do. He was very professional and answered all questions. When the job was complete he explained all the features of the new system. He asked me several times if I had further questions. It was nice to find someone these days that wanted to verify that I was happy with what I purchased and with the install itself. Justin followed up the next day with a call to see if everything was good. I like to say that A1 was great and employees like Justin are icing on the cake. Thank You Justin...

Jed was amazing. He called ahead, was on time, and was able to address my concerns and handle my repairs right away! He showed me how everything worked which was great. All the staff is super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly… but Jed is the best! I highly recommend A1 Garage for all of your needs!

A1 has great communication. I especially appreciate the text sent about Tyler, the tech that was dispatched, with his picture and a small bio just before my appointment.Tyler was knowledgeable and fast. He assessed my existing setup, asked what I expected, provided his suggestion with costs before completing the work. Completed the work, walked me through the new equipment, and let me test it before taking payment. All work was completed in one short appointment.

Great technician - great work. Steve was on time for our appointment and did a great job explaining what was wrong and why it happened. We ended up doing some more part replacement than we had anticipated, but he laid out all our options so we could pick the best one for us. Would recommend highly. Just remember, garage door repair and replacement isn't cheap, no matter who does it.

I was incredibly impressed with my experience with A1 Garage Door Service from start to finish! I was able to schedule a next-day service appointment which although my requests were not emergent, was super convenient. My technician, Steven, was incredibly knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the adjustments he made (including new springs and rollers that were appropriate for my door). I’m not sure if my garage door had been serviced since being built 20 years ago but, I could immediately tell a remarkable difference in the quietness and smoothness of the door and operator while opening/closing. I will definitively use A1 for all my future garage door service/installation needs!

We are extremely pleased with the work Shawn K did today replacing our garage door. He was very professional, yet also friendly and an excellent communicator. He worked efficiently, cleaned up impeccably when he finished and hauled away our old door. Based on Shawn's work (and that of Tyler our A1 repairman) I would highly recommend A1 Garage Door Service to anyone. Jed was very professional and thorough. Not to mention how time efficient he was! He called beforehand giving me a heads up on when exactly he was gonna show up. Fixed the issue in no time. My garage door probably works better now than it ever has! Jed was very upfront with everything he was doing and what it was gonna cost. Exactly the transparency I was looking for and appreciate. This was my first time using A1 and it was a great experience. Greg and Mark were pleasant to work with. I appreciated them explaining the ifs and whys of what they were replacing. In the beginning I was overwhelmed with what needed to be done. At the end I felt relieved because I feel you get what you pay for and I feel that I got a very good service. Working with the sales team from A1 Garage door was nice. They walked through most of the options, I say most because they never mentioned the key entry in case of power outage. Which I think I need.I was told my garage door wouldn't be in until February 2022, my garage door was in really bad shape, my sales rep did fix my old one so it would hold out until Feb. The door came in early, it arrived in November. It was installed 11/17/21.My installer Christian, was awesome! He was friendly and helpful. He got everything installed and the new door is great!I would highly recommend A1 Garage door if you need a new one, or just need to repair one.

Jed was amazing! Sized up our needs for replacement opener, springs and rollers. Price was very reasonable and there was an online special which covered the installation cost. I am also pleased they use Lift Master products, which I trust. Also had great experience with the phone/scheduling team. They were very pleasant, responsive and professional. Jed with A1 was great! He was very friendly, realistic, and knowledgeable- I would recommend him and A1 to anyone having issues with their garage door. Jed Called when he was 15 minutes away and arrived with in the first hour of the promise window. He quickly inspected and completed a job I’m glad I didn’t tackle myself. He took the time to explain things over more than once and we were never pressured into making an important decision to upgrade our garage door opener to a safer and more efficient unit with WiFi capabilities. Greg was the technician that came to service my garage door. He was the best!!!!!! He was polite, respectful and explained, in detail, all that he was going to do today. I will be ordering a new garage door early next year, so he made sure that what I currently have will make it through winter. I would definitely recommend A1 Garage Door Service to all of my friends and family. Greg even lives in my area and I will definitely support anyone from my community. 02-18-2021 I called A1 Garage Service because my garage door wasn't working properly. I found coupons for this company the other day and called the office. The lady at the office answered and at first set a time for Friday but said that she'd squeeze me in today between 1000 and 1500 to get my garage door working sooner. She called me this morning to let me know the time someone would be out in 1 1/2 hours. Nick called and said he was on his way and would be here at 1415. When he got here he asked what brings him out here today? I told him about my garage door not working and he said let's take a look. He was very friendly and I felt so much at ease right away as I felt I was in good hands. He explained what was going on and showed me a few things. He did try to talk about replacing the spring but I didn't want to spend more money on something that's still working. I probably could've called another garage service place in town but I didn't think of them at the time. This place isn't the most reasonable. He's very passionate on his work ethics and very proud of it too. You're very lucky and fortunate to have such a fine young man working for you. Great job Nick.

Jonathon was an excellent technician. He went through my options with me thoroughly but in an easy to understand way and was able to identify other problems that he solved immediately. Even though I spent more than the original quote because of other parts needing to be replaced, I am happy with the level of service I received. I contacted A1 Garage Service for our garage door and when I called, a person answered the phone immediately. No leaving a message. I set up a day for A1 to come over and look at our garage door. I couldn't believe it that A1 Garage Service was open on a Sunday. Jed from the A1 Garage Service was at my door at 8:00 am. He told me it would take a hour and a half to fix our garage door. So I approved the service to be done. It was incredible the door worked beautifully. Great service and kind people.
