A spring broke this morning while I was trapped at home alone. I loved having the option to schedule immediately right through Google. I also really appreciated the photo and bio of my tech beforehand. My window was 11a-4p, and Ryan was promptly here at 11a. He even offered to pick up a coffee for me when he stopped for gas on the way here, very considerate! While here, he and his partner Steven were courteous, friendly, and thorough. Ryan, my first contact was prompt, courteous and very professional. Took his time to detail what was needed, what my options were and where I could save a few dollars.The team quickly got my new door and opener hardware, and scheduled the installation within a week.Tyler my installation technician was on time, which has not been the case with other contractors, and ready to get started at the appointment time. He was very nice, and got right to work. He removed the old equipment and installed the new systems quickly and quietly, I almost didn't know he was here. After about 4.5 hours, as he projected, he was cleaned up, old hardware disposed of, and took the time to detail the new system.I would recommend this team to anyone who needed sales or support for their garage door.

Look no further A1 Garage Door Company is a stand-up business with stand-up employees. They installed two garage doors in 2021, and the experience was excellent. I had the unfortunate experience of a broken spring over the weekend. After contacting the company and speaking with Conner, he came out within 15 minutes with his co-worker Mike, and they had everything replaced and fixed in 15 minutes! A1 Garage Door Service has never disappointed us. We had our garage door fully installed by them and we had them come out to do a maintenance checks on our door. Whenever we talk to customer service they are always very friendly and helpful. The technicians from instigation to service calls are always friendly and very helpful.We was having problems with the technology of remote door and the remote camera. Went out to pick up some last minute items the day before Thanksgiving only to return to a garage door that wouldn’t open due to a broken spring. Immediately contacted A1 Garage to setup a service call for what I expected to be the following week due to the holiday. After speaking with Shirley who was very thorough providing information, she informed me that she could have a service technician available the same day. Within a half hour the technician arrived at my residence. Dylan the service tech was very professional, polite and knowledgeable regarding product and repair. He evaluated the issue and explained the repair process. He provided us with recommendations and options and addressed all of our concerns. He completed the repair precisely and thoroughly in a very timely manner. A1 provided excellent customer service from the initial call to the completed repair. Brandon was phenomenal! Personally, as a ‘young’, single, female homeowner, I often worry that men coming out to discuss repairs may try to take advantage of me (candidly.) However, I could quickly tell that was not a concern with Brandon. He was polite, honest, over communicative, and efficient. He explained everything in detail about my repair, as well as possible options. I ended up scheduling an installation for a new garage door with financing at 0% interest for 12 months! Excellent service with A1 Garage door service. My spring had popped out from the wall bracket and got stuck on my old garage door opener bracket that was still stuck on the wall. A1 had quick opening which i was able to book via there easy to use online app. The technician Josh called the same morning and arrived on time within the timeslot that i had booked. He arrived and quickly was able to safely secure the loose tensioned spring and release the tension to start working safely. He quickly looked at my system and provided great feedback about what needed to be done so that I had a functional garage door. Every step of the way he communicated any additional costs to fix the garage and made sure i wanted to move forward. Very detailed explaining the issues with my garage and what i needed to get fixed as well as provide options for lower or higher costs and what it entails. The project was done within the time window and now i have a functional garage door that will work without issues for the years to come. Very happy with how punctual and effective the job was executed. Recommend A1 services to anyone that needs any garage door service offered by them.

We very much appreciate him being very honest, helpful, thorough and polite, regarding the situation with our old garage. He recommended the best parts and proper equipment for this successful replacement of our old garage door opener system, for a garage that was not ever actually designed to have such features. I recently responded to a radio commercial for a garage door tune up and Joel S from A1 Garage Door Service came out to my house in Woodhaven today. From the moment he arrived, I felt I had made a good decision in calling A1.Joel called me from the road to confirm his arrival time, he arrived in a clean, well-marked van, he was very friendly, personable, professional, and quickly made me feel he was very well-equipped to examine my door & opener and give me an objective report on their condition.He asked several questions about my current garage door, whether I was having any problems with it, or if I had any specific concerns about how things were operating.He carefully listened to my responses and explained what his inspection was going to cover, and then carefully explained what he found.There was at least one cracked hinge, all of the rollers were noisy and in need of lubrication, the bottom rubber seal needed to be replaced, and a few other issues that could pose future problems were pointed out.Joel also commented on several other items, like the springs which I had replaced a few years ago, telling me they were still good shape and that he would readjust the way the door was opening and closing.I’ve also been experiencing some issues with my current automatic door opener (which is quite old) and I inquired about replacement options. I wanted to explore more recent technology like Wi-Fi connectivity and smartphone app use.Joel was able to show me the three models his company carries and offered suggestions on which would best meet my needs. Even though I hadn’t planned on replacing my existing opener today, the explanations I received, along with the payment options and discounts currently available, made a compelling case for doing so. In the end, I decided to replace my old opener with a new model and have it installed today.I was happy to learn that all the A1 installers/service technicians are completely stocked with everything they might need in their vans, so Joel was able to complete my new opener installation with no need for a second visit.We covered all the payment/financing options very easily and thoroughly, and I was approved for my chosen payment plan in a matter of minutes.Once Joel began the actual work of replacing parts on the old door, removing the old opener, and installing the new one… he handled everything quickly, efficiently, and skillfully. He very obviously knew what he was doing and explained things to me as he worked.When the installation was done, he took time to clearly explain everything I needed to know about the new system, the new remotes, and new keypad. He also walked me through the process of setting the smartphone app and showed me how to use it.Throughout the entire process, he was very courteous, easy to understand, and made sure I was comfortable with all the new features of my system. He also carefully cleaned up & removed all the old parts and packing materials from the new unit.When working with contractors at my home, I very much try to get to know them and develop a good customer relationship that will last, especially with items like this which may require future service or maintenance.Even though this was my first experience with A1 Garage Door Service, I’m very pleased and impressed with how everything turned out. Right from my initial phone call to set up the inspection appointment, the courtesy and efficiency of the company representatives I encountered was truly exceptional. To discover this kind of company culture by simply responding to a radio commercial is remarkable.Based on my experience today, I will most certainly recommend A1 Garage Door Service and technicians like Joel S to my friends and family. AFTER INSTALL UPDATE-I love my new garage door!! Thank you A1.Words cannot express how impressed I am with every aspect of my garage door replacement. When Tyler K arrived at my house by himself to remove my old door and install the new one, I was skeptical. The old door was a one piece that was non functioning and had been stuck in place for 7+ years. Somehow, he found a way to get it out, load it on the truck and install the new one to perfection without any assistance. He is a master at installing garage doors!!Do not hesitate in putting your trust in this company. Matthew was prompt and polite. He took the time to explain everything to us. He listened to our description of the problem. He explained his diagnosis and the steps to fix the possible causes in the order of most probable and most important. He showed us all the old parts and explained what needed replacing and why. He tested the door after it was fixed and discovered that it still had a problem and worked with us to arrive at an affordable solution. Justin came out and was very honest with me and basically said that my garage door is pretty beat up and although my spring is truly broken, it was actually the wrong spring for my 16 foot garage and let me know was transparent enough to let me know that they weren’t going to be the cheapest out there, but the quality of their product Would be beneficial to my home and add value to my home and that there is great financing to make it affordable so I am keeping them in mind.
